FAQS

FAQs

  • What Is an Indoor Dog Park?

An indoor dog park is an indoor, temperature controlled facility to take your dog to play, run and socialize with other dogs, just as he would at an outdoor dog park. We keep the park clean and beautiful. You and your dog will love it!

  • What are the indoor dog park rules?

They are clearly stated at the park before entering.

  • Do I Leave My Dog at The Park?

No. This is your time to play and socialize with your dog. You are responsible for your dog’s safety and fun.

  • What Types of Amenities Are Offered at JB’s Indoor Dog Park?

You will be greeted by caring, professional staff. The park provides toys, agility equipment, water and treats for dogs, and WiFi, flat screen TV, and snacks and beverages for owners.

  • Do You Have Breed-Specific Playgroups?

Yes! Please watch for dates and specific breed playdates on our Events page. If you would like to book a playgroup, please contact Jackie at 781-413-1774.

  • Can I Book a Birthday Party at JB’s?

Absolutely, we provide the park and all the goodies and you provide your dog and his friends! It will be quite an event!

  • How Do I Pay?

JB’s will bill your credit card/debit card monthly (like your gym membership). See pricing on the Home page for details.

  • Can I freeze or cancel my membership?

Absolutely, we just need 30 days of notice.

  • Where Does My Dog Go to The Bathroom?

Dogs must go to bathroom outside in our designated spot. If your dog does relieve himself or herself in the park we ask that you clean it up immediately. There are waste disposable bags and sanitizer spray available.

  • Are vaccines required?

Yes, so please come prepared! Current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccination records are required to be on file before your pup can play.

  • What Is the Best Way to Send Vaccination Records?

After you have registered, the fastest, best way to send over your vaccination records is to upload them on our website. We hate having to turn poor pups away that show up with out-of-date or incomplete vaccinations, however, we need to be strict about this in order to make certain a safe environment for all.

  • How Old Does My Dog Need to Be?

Puppies must be at least 4 months to enter the park.

  • Is There an Area for Small Dogs?

    Yes, and for puppies too.

  • Can small dogs go in the active play “big dog” area?

Yes, however if large dogs are bothered by them or if the safety of the small dog becomes a concern, we ask that you return to the small dog area.

  • Can large dogs go in the gentle play “small dog” area?

We understand that some large dogs are older and nervous, so in many cases it is allowed. However, if your large dog’s play becomes a safety risk for the smaller dogs, we will politely ask you to relocate your pup.

  • Do You Have Staff Supervising the Dogs?

We have park rangers roaming the park. However, you are responsible for your own dog.

  • How Do You Clean Your Facility?

We clean the park daily, but we also have a cleaning company once per week that disinfects the entire park.

  • Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?

No. If they do not excessively mark, mount and are not aggressive in any way, they are welcome.

  • What about aggression or bullying?

Dogs that are demonstrating any indications of aggression, bullying, or aggravating other pups will respectfully be asked to take a time out or leave for the day.

  • What about barking?

We are a completely enclosed, indoor facility that is designed for a relaxed, safe level of play. Barking is absolutely allowed but excessive barking can become a stressor for other dogs. As soon as one dog starts barking, many others follow, and the mood changes very quickly! So please keep this in mind and be respectful of other dogs.

We understand that some dogs play in this manner, but for an indoor space, it can create anxiety for the other pups. You must be able to quiet your dog’s down and redirect their attention.

  • Can I bring in outside food?

    No

  • Do you allow kids?

We prefer that children stand outside of the park and observe the dogs playing. Children must be at least 10 years old to be in the park.
